TNK-BP has invested more than $ 100 million in the Uvat exploration

TNK-Uvat (a subsidiary of TNK-BP) has sent more than $ 100 million this year into the field exploration program of the Uvat group in Western Siberia.

The company is to drill about 40 exploratory and development wells during the next three years according to the approved program of exploration (the Uvat project). All Scheduled drilling objectives 2011 are successfully carried out by the TNK-Uvat.

The Exploration works have been carried out on six licensed objects, five of which are located in the south of the Tyumen Region (Fir, South Fir, Urnenskoe, Ust-Tegusskoe, Keumsky) and the last one in the south of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area (South Gavrikovsky).

For the present day moment all well drilling works are completed, says Vladimir Rudenko the head of the PGR TNK-Uvat. During testing of these objects were obtained, industrial oil flows. "The maximum production rate has made 67.5 tons per day - he says. - The amount of exploratory drilling has reached 43.3 thousand meters."
