Samsung Group is investing a record amount of $ 41.4 billion in 2012

The South Korean conglomerate wants to strengthen its position in the market of mobile chips and LED-displays

Samsung Group is investing $ 41.4 billion in 2012 and it is the largest investment in the history of the South Korean company.

Samsung is a leader among the competitors in investment in the development of new technologies. Now they want to repeat the success of the memory chips and LED-displays, which brought the company a good profit in previous years. Analysts suggest that about 25 trillion of won, or 80% of investment Samsung Group, are going to Samsung Electronics, reports Reuters. The subsidiary is producing mobile processors for the iPhone and IPad, as well as its own line of phones and tablets Galaxy. At the same time the main competitor of the company, LG Group, would reduce its investment by the $ 3 billion this year.
